-Car Game
The
next time you're in the car keep everyone busy by looking at signs and
spotting letters of the alphabet. See who can find an A, B, C etc. through
to Z. The easy way to play is to find the letter anywhere. The harder
version is to find it at the beginning of a word. Or just look for caps
or lower case. The game can be a competition or, as I prefer, cooperative.
Vary to find letters in people's names and so forth.
Squiggle Pix-Drawing
Game
Take
turns drawing a squiggle and letting the other player make the squiggle
into a picture. Kids and parents can take turns. Create themes -- animals,
clowns, faces, imaginary plants and so forth.
